Watch it as it grows building blowing through the roof
Killing expectation that was swallowed at the start
Don't speak about the mess that was made then it broke through
Think about the mess it sprung from
It's desire to rise from the cage it bud from
Blooming from it's tomb to become a dangerous beauty
Despite lack of nourishment it grew off will
Never had life support so it flourished off light support
From a few believers that over achieved while being under
The worst and most twisted paths but still kept their lives straight
In that alone they passed along the seeds that came together
Fertilizing this forest with hope
Sun bathing in future's glow of chance hope
Over taking industrial hate
As it snatches back what was taken from its birth
In early attempts to kill its conception
Through the birth control and abstinence the seed was planted
And from the accident a loving miracle grew
That grows from the concrete plains
Across mindscapes, heart fields, and soul farms
Cultivated the fruits of real change
